THE P. BY PATTY CASTILLO

Como ya anteriormente les habíamos comentado, poco a poco queremos irles mostrando el gran aporte que nuestro país El Salvador, está haciendo por la moda. 

Y para comenzar, queremos hablarles sobre Paty Castillo, una diseñadora Salvadoreña que desde pequeña sintió pasión por la moda y de la cual ya me han visto usar uno de sus diseños en este post.


En el 2004 decide ir a estudiar "Diseño de Modas" a Milán, Italia, lugar en el que grandes diseñadores tienen sus Casas de Modas. Luego de finalizar su carrera comenzó a trabajar en Compañías Japonesas de Moda donde aprendió la fascinación por los detalles y la calidad, el buen corte, la exigencia, precisión y perfección en todo el proceso que conlleva a un producto final de alta calidad y su manera de ver la moda como concepto de arte en sí.


  En el 2009 regresa a nuestro país e inicia a trabajar en productoras de televisión como Directora de Arte y Stylist.

En el 2011 decide crear su marca The P., una marca que se desarrolla bajo la línea Prêt-à-Porter o lista para usar.

  Su principal objetivo: la moda conceptual  enfocada en el diseño, creando piezas únicas,  e inspirándose en el minimalismo, la arquitectura y lo abstracto.




¿Por qué el nombre "TheP." ?  Al preguntárselo ella responde "TheP. engloba mi mundo"


.  TheP. es una marca para mujeres con personalidad fuerte, para aquellas que les gusta ser creativas y diferentes. 


Recientemente, Paty  estuvo en Londres presentando theP.  en una de las ferias más importantes de modas en Inglaterra "Pure London" .

Con TheP., Paty espera que el mundo entero se enamore mucho más del Diseño y el Arte en la Moda.

Para buscar inspiración Paty visita blogs de moda tales como: The Sartorialist, Street Pepper, Not Couture entre otras.  Lee revistas de modas como Vogue Italia, España y  Japón, y de interiores como Architectural Digest entre otras.

Sin duda alguna, TheP. será una de las marcas favoritas del blog y nos enorgullece saber que en nuestro país hay diseñadoras como Paty que están poniendo en lo más alto el diseño salvadoreño.

As we mentioned before, little by little we want to present to you some of the great contributions to fashion coming from our country, El Salvador.

To begin, we want to talk to you about Paty Castillo, a salvadorean designer who from a young age felt the passion for fashion. You've seen me wear one of her designs on a previous post.


She began studying traditional craft design but she quickly realized that her aspirations were in the fashion industry. So in 2004 she decided to study Fashion Design in Milan, Italy, home to some of the great fashion houses.  After finishing her studies, she began working in Japanese Fashion companies where she learned her fascination for details and quality, a good cut, the demand, precision and perfection throughout the process that leads to a high quality final product, as well as the way of looking at fashion as an art concept in itself.  In 2009 she returned to El Salvador where she began to work as an Art Director and Stylist in local television production companies.

In 2011 she decided to create her won brand "The P.".  The brand is developed under the Prêt-à-Porter line, which means Ready-to-Wear.  Her main objective: conceptual fashion focused on design, creating unique pieces, while taking inspiration from minimalism, arquitecture and the abstract.

Why the name "The P."? When asked about it she replied, "The P englobes my world".

Paty's designs target women with strong personalities. It's for all those looking to be creative and different.  Recently, Paty was in London presenting her collection "Pure London".


With TheP., Paty hopes the whole world falls more in love Design and Art in Fashion.

To seek inspiration, Paty visits fashion blogs such as: The Sartorialist, Street Pepper and Not Couture, among others.  She reads fashion magazines such as Vogue Italy, Spain and Japan, as well as a few on interior design such as Architectural Digest.

Without a doubt, The P. will be one of this blog's favorite brands and it makes us proud to know that in our country there are such great designers like Paty which are setting a high standard for Salvadorean design.
