SPIKES!

ZARA SPIKES NECKLACE/ STRADIVARIUS SHIRT/ ZARA HIGH WAIST PANTS/ ACCENTO BRACELET/ MICHAEL KORS WATCH

As always, I love participating on the challenges organized by Nany's Klozet, Flor de Maria Fashion and Ashes into Fashion.  When this week's challenge was published, seeing that it was about using spikes/studs, I just loved the idea. But this time was a bit more complicated because a few days ago I ordered a few things with spikes online, but they'll be delivered in about 3 weeks, which made a lot more difficult because it's not a trend that you will find in just any store here. But, just when I was about to give up, I saw this necklace at ZARA y fell in love with it as I laid eyes on it. I've wore it twice this week already, and one of those times was this outfit shown here.

Many of you might shy away from this trend because it seem as if it adds a rocker touch to the look,  it might seem to strong, or even remind you of  punk fashion. But believe me, depending on the way we use this trend, it can be very feminine. With this outfit, I wanted to focus the attention completely on the necklace so I went with something simple: black high-waist pants and a white shirt, both from Zara.

Como siempre, me encanta participar en los retos que organizan Nany's Klozet, Flor de Maria Fashion y Ashes into Fashion. Al publicar el reto de esta semana y ver que era usar spikes/studs, me encantó la idea. Pero esta vez fue más complicado porque justo hace un par de días mandé a pedir a una tienda online un par de cositas con spikes y me van a venir hasta en 3 semanas, por lo que para este reto se me hizo un poquito más difícil buscar algo así ya que prácticamente ninguna tienda tenia ropa o accesorios con esta tendencia. Cuando ya me iba a dar por vencida, vi este collar en ZARA y créanme que me enamoré al solo verlo. Ya lo he usado 2 veces en lo que va de la semana, una de esas veces es este outfit.

A muchas les podrá dar un poquito de miedo usar esta tendencia porque si parece que le da a un look un toque muy roquero y, hasta cierto punto, algo fuerte y les podrá recordar también a la moda punk. Pero créanme que deperndiendo en la forma que los usemos, pueden llegar a ser muy femeninos. Con este outfit quise centrar completamente la atención en el collar así que me fui por lo mas simple: pantalón negro a la cintura y camisa blanca, ambas cosas de Zara.
